Katy Perry is getting prepared to thunder from under the Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday night.
The artist, 28, was set to close out the MTV Video Music Awards from a "mystery area" in Brooklyn — yet enthusiasts of the "Teenage Dream" ruler rapidly searched her out.
"She should perform on top of the Brooklyn Bridge yet the city wouldn't give her the license," a show insider let us know Weekly magazine.
